WHAT WE DO

Our services revolve around voluntary, compassionate, and effective interventions for individuals and their families.

Our Support Services

Intervention

An intervention is conducted with a person and their family to reach a conclusion about the most appropriate help for their addiction problem. Afterward, we evaluate the person’s position and decide what is the best solution for their case.

Family Support

The family is guided through a process to help them understand the problem of addiction of their loved one and avoid enabling the situation. We help the family cope with their specific circumstance through counseling and family meetings.

Referral to Rehabilitation

If rehabilitation is recommended, we assist and guide individuals and their families to an appropriate rehabilitation center. One of our partners is Hogar Crea, a rehabilitation center in the Dominican Republic.

Community Integration

After the individual has attended rehab, they have the opportunity to be eligible to join Cas Speransa, a reintegration center in Aruba.  The goal is to provide care and professional guidance for adults in a healthy and structured environment, helping shape and maintain life skills to become and remain productive members of the community.

The Facility

For individuals who have completed a rehab program,  Cas Speransa provides a safe and structured environment with comprehensive care and professional guidance. Our team works to foster the development of essential life skills to help individuals become and remain productive members of the community.

Our Success Stories

I was sent to Hogares Crea two times for substance abuse. The first time I returned to Aruba and returned to drugs after several months. The drug dealers were waiting for me. On the second try, when my Mom passed away, I was approached again by Osiris Frias, director of Cas Speransa to change my life around. With the help of Anouk and Osiris Mona, I was sent to Santo Domingo for rehab again. I returned after two and a half years on Sept 23, 2020. I go to rehab meetings two times a week at a church in San Nicolas. I also get picked up every Sunday to attend church services in Dakota. I celebrated my fifth year of being clean with the help of the folks at the Anglican Church. It was a great celebration of family, friends, and lots of cheers. I keep busy by cooking and doing housework for several of her neighbors and those in need.
